Client Challenge & TowerPinkster Solution

Old National Bank provides services to individuals, families and businesses, and operates over 160 banking centers throughout the Midwest. With ten branches in Southwest Michigan, and plans for continued growth in the region, Old National identified a prime location for a new facility within Kalamazoo’s Corner@ Drake development; a new premier retail development located at the northeast quadrant of the U.S. 131 and Stadium Drive interchange in Kalamazoo. TowerPinkster collaborated with Old National Bank and AVB Construction to design and build a new 19,700 square-foot branch. The two-story building features a banking center and drive-thru on the first floor and executive offices on the second floor. The design process included adjustments to the floor plan to better address lessons learned from previous facilities. The exterior design was also modified to represent a unique blend of reinforcing Old National’s existing branding with the new facilities through the use of architectural style and materials, while also meeting development standards of the retail center.
