Higher Education
Changing the world,
one student at a time.

« back to main

Today’s students expect more from college. We design environments that spark imagination, encourage innovation, and allow students to grow. Campuses are struggling to do more with less, and we find solutions that support your vision and bottom line. We work to carefully balance campus character, functionality, operational expenses, and sustainability. We are transforming campuses one classroom, one lab, one apartment at a time.

Northwood University
Troy Campus Relocation

Location:
Troy, Michigan
Size:
8,633 SF
Description:
To support its mission, Northwood found it necessary to provide a larger, more suitable facility with greater street presence. TowerPinkster transformed an old call center into an inspiring educational environment. The design standards used set the bar for future Northwood renovations. The entrance is pronounced with a glass wall that draws users into the space and transparent wall partitions allow light to penetrate throughout where low ceilings had once made the space feel small and dark. The design is crisp, clean and professional to support primarily working adults during evenings/weekends. Program offerings include undergraduate and graduate-level business courses, and the new classrooms, offices, conference rooms, kitchen and open work areas provide an interactive learning environment.
