Introducing the Judge Charles A. Pratt Justice Center!

Kalamazoo County’s vision for a state-of-the-art downtown courthouse is now a reality. This new facility consolidates judicial services, replacing the Michigan Avenue Courthouse and housing the circuit court, district court, and prosecutor’s office all under one roof. Designed with the community in mind, the Justice Center features: public-friendly spaces, including jury assembly rooms and the court clerk’s office, a central light well that allows natural light to flood the interior. an energy-efficient roof that promotes environmental stewardship. Developed in collaboration with TowerPinkster and HOK, this project ensures long-term functionality for both the county and its residents.
