Kovert Hawkins Adopts TowerPinkster Name
Kovert Hawkins Architects, who merged with TowerPinkster in October of 2021, will adopt the TowerPinkster name starting April 1, 2022. The merger expands TowerPinkster’s reach with offices in Jeffersonville, IN, and Louisville, KY.
TowerPinkster now boasts nearly 200 professionals and five offices across Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky. With additional services, increased expertise, and expanded geographic reach, TowerPinkster’s multidiscipline team is better able to serve clients throughout the Midwest and beyond. The firm’s area of expertise include architecture; structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering; technology and security design; interior design; master planning; and landscape architecture.
Local Leadership
TowerPinkster’s Jeffersonville office will continue under the leadership of Hal Kovert and John Hawkins, the founders of Kovert Hawkins Architects. Since its founding in 1985, the firm has designed many impressive projects in a wide array of market sectors including K-12, commercial, government, historic renovations, industrial, and healthcare. Design awards includes a Silver Citation from American School & University for Silver CreekPrimary School in Sellersburg, IN; Honor Award from National Terrazzo & Mosaic Association for Paoli Jr./Sr. High School in Paoli, IN; and the TCA Irving J. Gill Progressive Architecture Award for design excellence, among others.
Key Projects
TowerPinkster’s Jeffersonville office has a history of designing functional and engaging spaces that include the Lilly Library at Indiana University – Bloomington, two fire stations for the Town of Clarksville, a number of project with the City of Jeffersonville including the public library, Harrison County Boy and Girls Club, FedEx, Tafel Motors Mercedes Benz, and a wide number of K-12 school districts.
